Taking on The World
Some days I wake up ready to take on the world. Other days all I want to do is hide from it. What's the difference?
Why am I empowered one day and retreating the next? Maybe I'm alone
in this, but I don't think so. I wake up everyday with the same gifts
and abilities that I had the day before. I trust God the same today as
yesterday. I have all the wonderful blessing around me today as I did
yesterday. So what's missing?
Here is what the word says (NIV). Philippians 4:13 "I can do
everything through Him who gives me strength." Psalm 68:19 "Praise be
to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens." 1 Peter
5:7 "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." Psalm 55:22
"Cast your cares on the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let
the righteous fall."
When I wake in the morning I know that God has given me strength to
tackle the days activities. I praise Him because He has already taken
the burdens of the day from me. He loves me so much that He wants me to
give him all my stress and anxiety. As I give Him my problems He gives
me peace and assurance that I will not fail. So how could I ever have a
bad day?
Ecclesiastes 3:1-11 talks about there being a time for everything.
There are days that we work hard and make little tracks and others that
it all seems simple and to our amazement we just climbed the whole
mountain. It's what keeps us in His timing. In Romans it says that God
is working all things together for our good.
Wrapping it up. It doesn't matter if I wake up ready to take on the
world; God is by my side and we are working together, or if I want to
hide from the world; we are still working together and He is by my
side. Both days can be very productive but in different ways. One day I
may lean more on my Father then the other but our relationship is
strengthened rather I am rejoicing with Him in all our accomplishments
or if I am leaning on Him to make it to the daily finish line. Either
way We've taken on My World.
