Impact investing refers to investments made with the intention to generate measurable, beneficial social or environmental impact alongside a financial return! Let’s add SPIRITUAL impact into that definition! This couldn’t have more to do with the Kingdom of God and our purpose in impacting the seven mountains of ministry; religion, family, education, government, media, arts and entertainment and business.
▶ Hearing the Voice of God: Acts 2:17 - In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
▶ Prophets Reward: Matthew 10:41 - Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person's reward.
▶ Cutting Edge Revelation: Amos 3:7 - Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.
▶ Prophetic Vision for the future: Proverbs 29:18 - Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom's instruction.
▶ Empowering and Equipping to fulfill Kingdom purpose: 1 Timothy 4:14-15 - Do not neglect the spiritual gift within you, which was bestowed on you through prophetic utterance with the laying on of hands by the presbytery. Take pains with these things; be absorbed in them, so that your progress will be evident to all.
▶ Relationships for victorious warfare: 1 Timothy 1:18-19 - This command I entrust to you, Timothy, my son, in accordance with the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you fight the good fight, keeping faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck in regard to their faith.
▶ Kingdom Family Relationship: Malachi 4:5-6 - Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD. “He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and smite the land with a curse."
